Part 3: The snow was slick beneath my paws as a new batch of snow was falling. The cold no longer bothered me, as it would've in my human form, instead I used it to my advantage. Most prey would be looking for shelter, trying to keep warm. I continued to follow the scent I picked up earlier until I came upon its tracks. They were deep in the snow and resembled my own when I was in human form. Small amounts of blood tainted the white floor of the forest; the beast was hurt. Good. Taking my paw I brushed off the snow from my nose and shook the snow from my fur. I ran fast following the tracks and the smell of fresh blood. Hopefully nothing had beaten me to the beast.

Part 2: I jumped from the tree branch of the old oak, the wind whipping my hair around. My carmel skin glistened in the moonlight and my dark eyes pierced through the night sky. As I fell closer to the ground I began to change. My skin was no longer smooth and carmel but was filled by thick grey fur. They say cats always land on their feet, well so do I. As my paws touched the ground I hunched down, picking up the scent of my prey. It was close, closer than I had thought. As my new eyes adjusted I could pick out the shadows in the forest more easily. I let out a howl towards the moon and leapt out into the snow to hunt my prey.

They call me by my secret name. I hunt in the shadows dwelling with the trees, I was once a fierce warrior but those days have long passed. What can they do to me here? This is my land, my territory. I shall hunt those that come and desecrate my land. I will rid them of their wickedness. They cannot speak my true name because uttering it from their lips strikes fear into their hearts. No, they must call me by my secret name, Nayla
