They then took me to a series of bars, ending at one that you could only get to by going through a series of buildings and up a couple flights of stairs. I spent the rest of the night drinking and dancing with my friends. I even got hit on by a couple of gay guys, and this wasn't a gay bar. WOOT!! We then went back to the hotel where my friends had to explain to me what turn-down service was. LOL The beds were the softest ever, and when we woke, we had roomservice, and breakfast in bed. I slept most of the way home. BEST BIRTHDAY EVER. I love my friends.

Birthday Continues...

After we finally slide our way to the first floor, I am again blindfolded. After a short drive, I am led somewhere and unblindfolded on a balcony. At first, confused, my friends then tell me that they knew I grew up as a poor kid, because I was always teasing them for being rich kids, so they ended up booking us a $400 suite at the ritz carlton, a five star hotel, with a private balcony, and marble shower. How they did it I still am not sure. They said it was time for me to party like a rich kid.

So, I have the best friends ever who gave me the best birthday ever. They planned a bunch of shit for me and wouldn't give me any idea what we were doing, only a list of stuff I needed to bring. Knowing that I am a big kid at heart, they first blindfolded and earplugged me and took me to a place in St. Louis called the city museum. If any of you knoe what a discovery zone is... the city museum is like a discovery zone on crack. Everything in there is made out of something that was recycled. No processed plastics. It is all made of rock, metal, and wood. They even had someone there who was blowing glass, a mini circus, and an aquarium. We spent six hours just crawling around and checking things out there.
