Thoughts of the mind
With our first breath, our journey begins!
Long and alone we walk within our minds.
Looking out through our eyes,
To see a world with many paths.
Confusion runs throughout our dreams.
Always seeking answers,
To questions left unasked with untold regrets.
To what ends our journey leads?
Another question left to our mind to ponder to its ends.
Why do what is in the norms?
Why feel anything at all if in the end it only hurts?
Another day but yesterday it replays.
Trapped one sometimes feels.
With few days made to remember by ones closest friends.
And yet another day sets.
Tomorrow brings another step in this journey’s many paths.
But why walk on these paths?
If everything one wants never appears.
A pointless step towards inevitable ends.
A step that is meaningless,
Without the hearts desired needs.
