Once upon a time about 21 years ago on July 21st 1987 at approximately 2:42 am I, Shileigh Nichole Robertson was brought into this crazy backwards world. My parents were only 17 and still in high school, so i am one of the few kids who has the pleasure of saying i was at my parents graduation and wedding ceremonies.. My grandmother practically raised me from day one and for that very reason she is one of my best friends and i can only hope to become half the person she is...My uncle Austin was by far one of the most important people in my life... he wasn't technically my blood relative he was a lifelong friend of my grandfathers but he loved me all the same and i don't think that kind of love can be forgotten... I was an only child until age 7 when my little brother Dylan was born and mind you i thought this kid was my baby and maybe that explains why he acts exactly like me... shortly after my brother was born my dad went through a premature midlife crisis and left us for a cheap whore he met at work... i'm glad my brother was too young to remeber anything because i can honestly still remeber what he was wearing the night he left and that is something you can' t ever shake... my mother basically turned into a zombie and even had to file a restraining order at one point.... needless to say i grew up way too soon... my teens years were rough and my mother and i fought either verbally or damn near physically every day so i lived with my grandmother many a night... after highschool i moved away to college and now my mom is one of my best friends....i dated only a select few guys and most of my relationships were really long actually but i can't seem to get over my trust issues with most men... thanks dad... i am almost done with college and i plan to move to washington state next year with my best friend from preschool... i will have another 3 years of grad school and then i will be a pediatric physical therapist... i don't know what life has in store for me but all i can say is that i'm happy with where i'm at....
