On Gender
In college, the students in my parasitic protozoa and parasitic helminths classes were all women (and one brave guy). Now I'm training to volunteer with invertebrates and every person in the group is female. I know it's not a significant sample size, yet I wonder: When did creepy crawlies become girly?
