Ok, so I just rented a room in this house right on the border of Irondequoit last week and I've been doing some job hunting on my bike (since no car still). As I'm riding around looking for some places to get applications, this dude ahead of me stops right in front of me. I try to swerve around him, and right as I go to get past, the bugger HITS ME! Punches me pretty damn hard on the side of my head and knocks my glasses off. When I finally realize what the hell just happened, I ask him why he just hit me. He calmly replys, "I need your bike," and just starts riding off on it. So here I am, the only white guy on a black street, bleeding from the side of my head. I just start walking home. As I'm walking this lady across the street asked me what happened, I told her, and she told me to come over and call the police. I call the police, wait about 15 mins, and they finally show up. When I'm finally done explaining everything to the cop, an ambulance shows up, takes a look at the hit and calls it "superficial", which suits me just fine since I don't have medical insurance and sure as hell can't afford to go to the hospital. I hang out in the cop car for about 3-4 hours waiting for the cop to finish filling out his report and question some of the people near where I got hit (nobody saw anything, big suprise, right?). Just as were getting ready to leave, the lady who told me to call the cops comes up beside the cop car and says that she found my bike in a field. I'm like, "Sweet!". Anyways, so we go get the bike (the front tire had been popped, I think...I still haven't tried to put air in it). The cop says, "looks like in might've been in an accident". He said this because not even 15 mins later, the cops where called about someone matching the description of the dude who stole my bike got hit by a car (Karma's a bitch!). So, now we have a name of a possible suspect who apparently scramed to his dad's house, and his dad is supposedly taking him to the hosiptal, but we can't find him.
Now, that is my crazy rediculous storuy...hurray for rochester! Lol.
