film slowly unravels filling the white, filling your mind...filling your heart
it is My yearning, My longing, My hopes...someone's true life, a story set to entertain You, to move You, to educate You....a picture a second.....
and there, RIGHT there, you see...circled with my bright red marker...STOP the film...There is the pain...There is where you hurt me....
pull the film from the projector...i'll cut this scene...i'll place this awful time in your hands now...it's yours to deal with...may the red marker bleed and stain your hand...a reminder...please do not repeat.

...in route to Toronto...finally a night sky.
Natural habits- I peer out the side window; eyes frantically searching for a light...
"hello...hello, Christy" -a familiar voice, a familiar star...(imagine...the voice of the imaginary character from the film "bogus"...an old, sweet french accent)
Checking in frequently, I gaze up at my same star...and as my driver gives in to the road and follows the curves, I adjust my gaze to be sure i don't lose my bright acquaintance....
"OH!"...sides of my mouth curving upward I am filled with excitement...my favourite cosmic accessory...Orion's belt. My beautiful bright star was part of my favourite constellation...what a wonder.

I often wish I could lay comfortably over that creation...each of my protruding hip bones touching each end of the belt..and there I am..suspended in space...resting head on folded hands.
