Top 3 Books of 2007 (I read a LOT of good books this year but most weren't published this year)
3. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows by JK Rowling ...... This has to go on here because it was the end to a really great series despite the fact that she killed my favorite character 100 freakin pages before the end of the book!
2. Rant by Chuck Palanhiuk ......... k, i love all of his books but this one is reminiscent of his glory days of Fight Club and Invisible Monsters
1. A Problem from Hell: America and the Age of Genocide by Samantha Power ......... technically first published in 2002 but my copy is the 2007 edition so it counts and it is one of the most powerful/disturbing books i have ever read. everyone needs to read it!
Top 7 Best Concerts of the Year
7. Boys Like Girls ....... could've been better if i'd been in the pit instead of surrounded by a thousand screaming 12-year olds in the nosebleed section, but it was still amazing!
6. Warped Tour 2007 ......... fantastic lineup including Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, Paramore, The Starting Line, Between the Trees and Boys Like Girls
5. Jack's Mannequin and the Format .......... got a concussion at this concert
4. We Shot the Moon and It's Like Love ............ if you ever get the chance to see ILL live do it. and invite me.
3. Dashboard Confessional and the Format ............ this concert started my month long obsession with any and all format music. i literally listened to nothing else.
2. The Killers and Louis XIV ........... possibly the best combination ever! despite getting beer thrown on me repeatedly by the drunk guys above us, this concert was crazy fun! and i heard louis xiv for the first time ever and it's been the steamiest love affair since! grrrrrowl! XP
1. My Chemical Romance and Rise Against ............ Gerard Way. 'nuf said.
Top 10 Best New Albums of the Year .... i won't go into my reasons for each of these, but if you haven't listened to them you need to because like it says in the title they are the "top 10 best new albums of the year."

10. Blades of Glory ........... k, this movie was just really funny
9. The Simpson’s Movie .......... as was this one
8. Once ......... watch this movie. it's an indie film you've probably never even heard of, but just take my word and watch it.
7. Juno .......... much better than Knocked Up, i don't care what you say.
6. The Devil Came on Horseback ........... chilling documentary
5. Lars and the Real Girl ........... you want a good romantic comedy, here ya go! It would be higher on the list if it weren't for my obsession with documentaries.
4. Freedom Writers ........ great movie! hillary swank is so good in this movie! and if you ever get the chance to read the real journals of these kids, you should.
3. God Grew Tired of Us ........ you have to watch this documentary on 4 boys who go from living in poverty in Sudan to living in the US
2. Darfur Now ........ as you might have guessed by now I am very interested in documentaries on Africa
1. Across the Universe ......... awww the Beatles!! and it was just amazing!
