Sebastian Fury / Arc Angel – Renegade superhero who believes it is his responsibility to save the world from its emanate destruction. As a child Sebastian had a pretty good life, but after his junior year things started to take a turn for the worst. His mom and dad divorced, and Sebastian started to become more and more depressed over time. After his senior year, Sebastian began to prepare for college. His first semester of college didn’t go so well, and Sebastian became even more depressed. Believing that perhaps he had just messed up his first semester, Sebastian readied himself for his second semester. Nearing the end of his second semester, Sebastian’s mom has a fatal stroke. The death of his mother sends him into a downward spiral of depression. Feeling that the world has turned its back on him, Sebastian embarks upon a journey to find his purpose in life. During his journey, he visits many different monasteries training in each of the martial art styles. After visiting nearly a dozen temples, Sebastian comes to one that will change his life forever. The monks at the Sudujo Temple explain to Sebastian the techniques of spiritual enlightenment (the art of fusing the mind, body, and soul together in order to reach a state of supernatural perfection). After explaining this technique, the monks warn Sebastian that performing this technique could possibly prove fatal to him. Sebastian takes the night to pray and decides what action he should take towards this new technique. Sebastian, feeling that this is surely the path that he is destined to take, decides that as soon as morning comes he will take the risks of the ritual and try to link his mind, body, and soul together. As the sun rises over the vast fields of the monastery, Sebastian walks towards the temple to ask the monks to help him perform this ritual technique that they had explained to him. The monks agree to help and begin preparation for the ritual. The monks strap Sebastian to a stone slab in a room adjacent to the temple. During the ritual, Sebastian blacks out. When Sebastian awakens, he finds himself in a heaven like room. From somewhere in the room booms a voice, Sebastian quivers at the sound of this great voice. The voice identifies itself as the voice of God, and tells Sebastian that he has finally found his path. Sebastian finds himself speechless in the presence of this being and begins to cry. God tells Sebastian that his path is the one of a hero, and that it is his duty to save the world from itself. God bestows the name Arc Angel upon Sebastian and grants him supernatural powers. After getting this charge from God, Sebastian is determined to fulfill his destiny and asks God to return him to earth. When he comes to, his muscles bulge and rip his clothes and he feels as if nothing can harm him. The monks seeing this, bow down and pray to God that this man will have the power and the faith to stay on the path that has been set before him. Sebastian thanks the monks and decides that his first target will be what he sees as the most corrupt city in the world, New York. Upon arriving in New York, Sebastian goes under cover and poses as a drug addict so that he can work his way up to the drug lords and start fixing this town. After taking down several small operations, Sebastian finally gets a big break and finds out who the leader of this drug ring is, Peter L. Wilson. After fighting through the large masses of Mr. Wilson’s henchmen, Sebastian finds himself going up against an adversary that pushes his new found strengths to the brink of there limits. During the battle, Sebastian finds that his powers are leaving him and is wounded very badly. Sebastian, realizing he must have done something to walk away from God’s path, leans on his sword and begins to pray. Upon ending his prayer, a bolt of lightning comes down from the heavens and strikes Sebastian. As the lightning surges through Sebastian’s body, wings burst from his back and a blue and violet aura surrounds him. Sebastian realizes he has been forgiven and rises to finish the battle
