Graced me with your touch,

Drifting upon waves of memories,
Directed by the winds that stir,
Lost within the endless seas,
Rattled nerves soothed by the scent of her.

I miss the warmth,
I miss the smile,
I miss the bitten lips,
and all things worth while.

Time to wander,
Time to grow,
Time to trek off
into the endless snow.

My seas will calm,
as will my tide,
and my dreams will sweeten,
when she once again,
lays by my side.

by the invisible hairline flaw,
that was once thought to be mended,

Because of this weakness,
because of a problem overlooked,
A beautiful thing, ended.

How come the most wonderful thing,
the most beautiful thing,
always is lost by chance,
by simple ignorance?

How come the thing you want most,
the thing you hold dear,
is driven away by a seemingly simple matter,

How come it is the one you love,
the one you never want to let go,
is the only thing in the world,
that gets hurt by you?

It's always the unseen,
Always the hidden matter,
That cuts the heart,
and shreds the soul...

An empty pit lies within my breast.
Wherefore has my tender heart wandered?
