Word to the wise: if you store your belongings with a storage company, and they offer you insurance, make sure that the insurance is not provided by Bader Company. This worthless company screwed me out of $1100 because they couldn't understand how a leaking unit could damage a king-sized mattress. This company is notorious for refusing to pay out claims, and will do anything they can to weasel out of perfectly valid claims. Most insurance companies are a pain in the ass to get money out of, even in the best of times, but Bob Bader and his entourage of idiots take "asshole insurance agent" to a heretofore unimagined level of incompetency and downright worthless, shady, questionable practices. The Bader company should be wiped off the face of the earth, and the offspring of every employee of that company sterilized so that their diseased seed ceases to pollute the gene pool of decent human beings.

Never buy a home that has been winterized by HomeEq Servicing. They do a shitty job and end up extensively damaging all of the pipes in any property they supposedly "secure" against the cold. The BS we're having to deal with because of their ineptitude is beyond ridiculous.

Dealing with REOs is a pain in the ass. They take as long to respond to anything as humanly possible, and try to pass it off as being "busy" or "overwhelmed". I'm just waiting for them to try and jack the offer up on me so that I can say "F you, man, buyers market!" and walk away smiling with the extra $5k they could have had if they hadn't tried to play their dumb-ass games with me.
