About me:
Divorced father of a small army of kids (4, they dont live with me).
I find it hard to open up completely to people first off - but people that I'm comfortable with tell me I have a great (if not somewhat warped) sense of humour, in a sort of Monty Python-esque sort of manner (a little dry, a little sarcastic, very much situational)
I enjoy most types of music - except country, rap, or death metal. My favorite would be classic rock of the 60s and 70s but there is always something I can get into as long as there's a strong beat, and a good guitar riff.
I'm into movies - especially comedies. I also like the genres of action, science fiction and most dramas, but veer away from the horror and slasher 'shocker' types. Thats not to say that I don't watch horror films - but they're not first on my list; and I'd rather the person next to me be holding my arm or leg because they WANT to, rather than because of what they're watching...

About you:
I'd like to find someone who is able to commit to marriage, home, and family. Soemone who is supportive, no matter the situation. Someone who is generous with her compassion, attention, sympathies and love, as I am apt to be the same.
I'm looking for someone who is able to accept that they are not always right - its not as easy as it sounds (and yes, I do have to work on that myself at times). Someone who will work with me to resolve rather than win arguments or conflicts within our relationship, and not carry around unresolved issues.
I'm looking for someone who enjoys staying in together and having quiet evenings alone or with close friends. Going out is great, but the balance must be there.
I'm looking for someone who values structure in their life, and isnt always jumping around between different thjings.
In any case, I'm looking to find a friend that will evolve into a long term relationship. I'll look to start off slow - I'm in no hurry here - we will need to make sure that we can connect and carry on a conversation, be it through email, or phone before we take that step into dating. If it's right, it's worth waiting for.
