A well-known speaker 
started off his
seminar by:
holding up a $20.00 bill.

In the room of 200, he asked, 'Who
would
like this
$20 bill?' 



Hands started going up. 




He said, 'I am going to give this 
$20
to one of you 

but first, let me do this. 




He proceeded to crumple up the $20
dollar bill. 




He then asked, 'Who 
still wants it?' 




Still the hands 
were up in the air. 



Well, he 
replied, 'What if I do this?'




And he dropped it on the ground and
started to
grind it into the floor with his shoe.





He picked it up, now crumpled and
dirty. 




'Now, who still wants it?' 




Still the hands went into the air. 




My friends, we have all learned a very
valuable
lesson. 



No matter what I did to the money, you
still wanted
it because it did not decrease in
value.

It was still worth $20.

Many times in our lives, we are
dropped,
crumpled,
and ground into the dirt 
by the
decisions we make
and 
the circumstances that come our
way. 



We feel as though we are worthless. 



But no matter what has 
happened or
what
will
happen, you will never lose your value.


Dirty or
clean, crumpled or finely creased, you
are still
priceless to those who do love you.

The worth of our lives comes not in
what
we do or
whom we know, but by WHO WE ARE.

Fairies are FEMALE

A married couple in their early 60's were out celebrating their 35th wedding anniversary in a quiet, romantic little restaurant. Suddenly, a tiny yet beautiful fairy appeared on their table and said, "For being such an exemplary married couple and for being faithful to each other for all this time, I will grant you each a wish."

"Ooh, I want to travel around the world with my darling husband" said the wife. The fairy moved her magic stick and ~ "Abra-cadabra!" ~ two tickets for the new Queen Mary 2 luxury liner appeared in her hands. Now it was the husbands turn.

He thought for a moment and said: "Well this is all very romantic, but an opportunity like this only occurs once in a lifetime, so, I'm sorry my love, but my wish is to go on this trip with a woman who is 30 years younger than me".

The wife, and the fairy, were deeply disappointed, but a wish is a wish..

So the fairy made a circle with her magic stick~ "Abra-cadabra!" ~ the husband became 92 years old.

The moral of this story...Men might be ungrateful ... But fairies are....females!

THE BOSS....



A boss wondered why one of his most valued employees had not phoned in
sick one day.



Having an urgent problem with one of the main computers, he dialed the
employee's home phone number and was greeted with a child's whisper.


"Hello?"


"Is your daddy home?" he asked.


"Yes," whispered the small voice.


May I talk with him?"


The child whispered, "No."


Surprised and wanting to talk with an adult, the boss asked,
"Is your Mummy there?"


"Yes."


"May I talk with her?"


Again the small voice whispered, "No."


Hoping there was somebody with whom he could leave a message, the boss
asked,
"Is anybody else there?"


"Yes," whispered the child, "a policeman."


Wondering what a cop would be doing at his employee's home, the boss
asked,
"May I speak with the policeman?"


"No, he's busy", whispered the child.


"Busy doing what?"


"Talking to Mummy and Daddy and the Fireman,"
came the whispered answer.


Growing more worried as he heard what sounded like a helicopter
through the earpiece on the phone, the boss asked,
"What is that noise?"


"A hello-copper" answered the whispering voice.


"What is going on there?" demanded the boss, now truly apprehensive.


Again, whispering, the child answered,
"The search team just landed the hello-copper."


Alarmed, concerned and a little frustrated the boss asked,
"What are they searching for?"


Still whispering, the young voice replied with a muffled giggle:
"ME"
