I'm sorry you're going through such a tough time. I know how you feel, I've been through some very tough times with my family too, in fact we're going through some tough times right now, one of my brothers is in jail and my little sister ran away from home last week and is now in a juvenile detention center and I'm really worried about her. And my grandma isn't doing well either and of course my parents are all worried about my brother and sister who are in trouble. I know exactly what you mean about that overwhelmed and out of control feeling. The thing I hold on to, which has been carrying me through all my tough times, is just embracing the fact that yes, everything IS out of my control. It always has been. But thankfully, the Lord is in control and he loves me, and promises that all things will work together for good to those who love Him. The only thing I can control is myself, so I have to choose, day by day, to trust Him and release my worries to Him and just let Him be in charge. And that's all I can do. But I know it's very hard, as humans we want to be in control of our own lives, and it's hard to let go and just trust. I'll keep praying for you... and I'd appreciate prayer for me and my family too. My brother's name is David and my sister is Rebekah. God bless, ~Robin
