ERICH AND THE PEANUT BUTTER MONSTERS:
A children's story.
Once upon a time there was a boy named Erich.
Erich really liked peanut butter.
He ate it every day for a snack, and he even took a jar of it to school with him to eat at meetings after school.
One day he was sitting in a film club meeting, eating an apple with some peanut butter. He was really enjoying it, but he was slightly scared of two sets of eyes gazing upon his jar of peanut butter with a look close to rapture in their eyes. He felt ill at ease for a bit, but he shook off the feeling of suspicion that had descended upon him and got up to get a tissue.
When he returned to his seat, he did not immediately notice that the jar was gone. When he did see that, however, he noticed that the sets of eyes were no longer in sight. Depressed, he thought to himself, "That's the third jar this week. Stupid peanut butter monsters."
