filled with anger my mind was a daze. amber knowing my rage carefully climbed to my back. i watched the men cower at my fangs they knew they could not take me and wisely stepped back. to make sure they knew the commander of these lands laid before them i gave them a true welcome with a ferocious roar.without a second glance we were off. amber clung to my back with her face deeply buried into me she knew as soon as we got home her true fear will begin.

a chill ran down their spine as the it flew ever closer to them. amber was also in terror for she knew that he was not there to save her but to reprimand her. instantly the men pointed their weapons towards the closing threat. then gone. it disappears right in front of them. they step foward hoping it to be a mirage. when out of no where landing on top of amber is the winged one. his eyes were a mix of silver and red. letting loose a terrifying growl he bears his fangs towards them.

his bow locked on her heart she knew she couldn't escape. the othes began to wake rising slowly from their slumber.it was time to go but she could not. the others now awake were in a mild panic at the scene. they quickly grasped the situation.the danger had risen amber was lost she'd ran out of escape routes all she could do was prey. but before the men took a step the sudden roar in the distance stop them all in their tracks.

while i slept Amber carefully crept towards the knights making sure each step blended in with the stillness of the night. with in several yards she watched them sleep her curiosity grew even more. suddenly a bush shook leaping foward skillfully dodging the arrow aimed at her. she rises knowing her cover blown staring down her attacker. he was no older than her but his eyes were far more aggressive what intentions he has for her she wondered knowing that this recon was just geting started.

while our nights past the plains were filled with thunder. the sounds of horses and their riders filled the lands. they had been sent by the king to find amber. they had been searching for several days and had night found us. i was aware of their presence but kept amber unaware. i did not want her to be near them i could sense the darkness that sent them. little did i know that in my deepest rest she had been watching them also with the moon and cherry blossoms to her back.
