Plastic People
AS I walk I see,
As I see I notice,
What I notice is surreal,
Amidst the crowds I watch,
Hidden in plain sight,
No obscure objection, no false light
As the masses move in and out,
a disorganised symphony,
ordered only by their blind following,
Moving, weaving and crossing in unison,
As I watch I see
As I see I notice,
Plastic people made of flesh,
but not of flesh true,
their lives ruled by their wants
lives ruled not by their hearts,
Nor ruled by their needs.
Plastic people dolls of their own creation,
looking to others for leadership,
others who are no more sheep than they are,
Unable to for themselves a decision to be made,
No the plastic will guide the plastic people
As I walk, I see, as I see, I notice,
And through all this I know, here I am alone,
My existence a lonely stain on the world,
No room in this world for those made of flesh
No room for those that feel there heart, No,
It is a world made for plastic people.
