Well, a few weeks ago this month I joined the National Guard for Minnesota. :) I know some of you probably think its not the right thing to do but to me it feels like i need to. One of the reasons if because I have always respected the military and another is that I have always felt that I needed to protect those I love and those around me, even if i don't know them. So joining the the National Guard actually feels like i will be able to do just that.
A plus side to this is that they army will help pay for my education. Going to college is expensive these days and taking out loans every year is bad for my credit. The reason i worry is because i don't want to turn up like my mom and dad and owe money for the rest of my life and not be able to pay it off.
Anyway, the beginning of next month I begin the first drill. Thats where I go and basically will find out what basic training will be like. XD I'll try to keep you guys updated on that. I wont be able to get to a computer until after Sunday so XD I'll post on Monday or something.
