I like my secrets.
Sometimes.
They make me who I am.
They separate me from the rest of the world.
I am special.
I am unique.
I am mysterious.
But more and more, lately,
I wonder what it would be like
To live a life
Free of secrecy.
No hiding, no worries.
Is it worth it?
I'll never know.

Because there are three kinds of secrets.

The ones I don't want to tell- conceivably, I could share them some day.
The ones people wouldn't want to know- again, it could happen.
The ones people can't know- no can do.

My secrets.
Your secrets.
I am not special.
I am not unique.
And I am definitely
Not mysterious.

I am me.
Nothing more.
