as in unseen lands and uncharted territory,
i have wandered into a place i have never before been.
where i find mystery my mind finds curiousity,
and my brain and body falters as i seperate from them.
an unknown compulsion to gain all relevant knowledge,
yet i don't know how to set myself into motion.

my mind like an ocean
my mouth like a river
from which thoughts and emotions i deliver
my ears like a cave
listen to what i say and i shiver
my heart like a tiger
says to walk on and be brave
my mind like an elder owl
says that is the wiser
but my reflection in the moon-lit lake
laughs at me and i forget to shake
i stare myself thru sand of an hourglass
and decide that my eyes are best blind
without them faulty emotion will pass
these eyes are like the poison of any kind
so i choose to leave them behind me
without them i know that i cannot see
but true seeing is more than thru the eye
vision from within myself lets nothing by
so i smile back and wave a non-regretful wave
as my heart shares it's trust and makes me brave
as my ears take in more yet more they crave
as my mouth runs more open and undiluted
