well i've had a interesting weekend,found myself having a heart attack while driving home from work on Friday,managed to pull over and phone 999 and got taken into West suffolk Hospital,as soon as they hooked me upto a ECG machine they told me i was going over to Papworth Hospital.
Within 10 min of being at Papworth i was taken down to have the Angioplasty,to those that dont know they stick a bloody big needle and thrred it up from your groin to your heart then squirt some dye that shows up on X-Ray and see where the blockage or narrowing of the artery was. then they blow up a ballon in the artery with a metal framework around it.
Spent the next 24 hours on "Bed-rest" and could not even go have a piss(ended up using the bottles) but the drugs and Intervenus drips they had me on ment i had a full bladder about ever 2hours.....you try pissing in a bottle every 2 hours and keeping any dignity.
Sunday was a great Day...they took me off the ECG machine and allowed me to go for a piss on my own...you have no idea how much you take for granted being able to go for a piss on your own.
Monday they sent me home but i now have 28 days of no driving,No work (not a bad thing) no booze and no more take away and i've also given up smoking (strange that people give up the day they have a heart attack) and have gone 4 days with out one now \o/
