Does any of that accurately describe the feeling one has when they are madly in love with another? Sure, certain parts may fit; sexual desire, passionate attachment, personal affection. But can reading this definition prepare someone for that fluttery feeling they're going to experience in the pit of their stomach? Or the way their heart actually aches when that person isn't around? Or the sense of loss and mourning when you can't just reach out and feel the body of the person you adore? No. It can't.
I once thought I knew what love was. I thought I had it all figured out. Turns out I was wrong. Very, very wrong.
The love I feel now is the most intense of all feelings. It puts me through a range of emotions every day, and I can't get my love off of my mind. It breaks my heart that I can't be with him at the moment, but I find solace knowing that our time will come. I have faith that we'll be together for the rest of ever. That I can spend the rest of my life at his feet, keeping him happy and content.
So, can love be summed up in so few words? Absolutely not. It's so much more.
