Just to say these tales (/poems) were written a while ago. Haven't written anything in absolutely ages! Should try to at some point, but only seem to be able to write when having a miserable time and life going really good since met hubby :)

I watch you from a distance
Wishing you were with me,
Wishing that I could feel,
You pressed against me.

Longing for your sweet touch,
Your skin against my own,
Your soft lips against mine,
Grinning as I softly moan.

Feeling you move inside me,
Your eyes staring into my soul,
Seeing me for who I am,
Seeing how I love you so.

I know your past haunts you,
Your bruised and battered heart,
Scared to let someone in again,
Only to have them depart.

But you shouldn't let your past,
Shield you from future love,
There'll be someone who will,
Be worthy of your love.

I know it might not be me
But wish I could be that girl,
So until then my dear,
Love you from afar I will.

I feel sad that we aren't talking
Know that I pushed you way too far
I know I said a lot of things to you
That have probably left their scar

I didn't mean to get so angry
And to insult you in that way
And now that we're not speaking
Well you're not anyway

I always feel so torn with you
Trying to be a friend and a mother
You don't seem to see past
Your own problems, like it doesn't matter

I've hated to see your life fall apart
Helpless on the sideline
Seeing someone you care for hurting
Wishing you could turn back time

We've both had a rough two years
But in very different ways
The thing is we're both still here
Struggling through the days

I hope this silence doesn't last
That soon you will let me back in
But until you do my dear friend
I'll leave you be till then

I'm sorry for I didn't realise why
I'm sorry, so now I wish

I could turn back the clock
And start again
Do things differently so I
Wouldn't hurt you again

I hate to see you so angry
And hurt by something I've done

Carry you around when your arthritis is bad,
All I wanna do is grow old with you.

Ill get your medicine when your tummy aches
Build you a fire if the furnace breaks
Oh it could be so nice, growing old with you

Ill miss you
Ill kiss you
Give you my coat when you are cold
Ill need you
Ill feed you
Even let ya hold the remote control

So let me do the dishes in our kitchen sink
Put you to bed if youve had too much to drink
I could be the man who grows old with you
