We moved in with my partners parents last year when I got pregnant as my partner worked away a lot. Now everyone should know that even sharing a house with friends will only prove you don't know them really and could turn out that you can't stand them. Times that by 100 and you can imagine how it is living with inlaws.
When my daughter was born this doubled as proud grandparents should not be left to pull funny faces, cuddle and talk baby talk 24/7. Plus the guilt trip every time a go out for the day because they have not seen her all day.
Now I have a friend come over to spend some time with my daughter as she will be helping when I go back to work and she was made to feel unwelcome. I was so embrassed.
Now am I an over protective parent or is it too much?
My advice is to keep away from this situ, there is always another way!!!!
