Just wanted to let the peeps know that Ben Stein's "Expelled" documentary was worth the watch. Hope you all get a chance to go and see it. It rocks!

Nathan and I are considering heading southeast for vaca. this summer. We’d do a mix of camping and hotels. I told Nathan that over 70 degrees is really pretty much “grump” weather for me. He told me that maybe we should rethink going south then seeing as the temps this summer could get around 90-95 plus humidity. Hmm. Maybe we could go earlier rather than later?? I dunno. Maybe listing some pros and cons would help. If you have any suggestions for me, leave a comment. We’re planning on going to North and South Carolina, Georgia, maybe northern Florida…stuff like that.

Pros:
The Ocean
The Smokies
Hanging out where I used to hang out as a kid with my folks
Friendlier people
Air-conditioned Car/Hotels

Cons:
Hot and humid
Bigger bugs
DollyWood

Well, I was looking around for my poetry journal that has all my poems that I’ve written, but it is successfully hiding from me. If I felt like I had the brains to come up with something spontaneous and original, I would; however, I’m not feeling all that courageous :)


Things that happened this week:

Chester and I walked at the East Race
A little girl told me she was a creator
I read a really interesting e-mail
Watched a couple of trailers for the documentary “Expelled” by Ben Stein


Things that are happening today:

Nathan, Chester, and I walked “down by the river.”
Chester successfully uploaded a goose pellet into his yapper. Sick.
Nathan cleverly gave Chester the Heimlich via leash and collar which sent the pellet air-borne and landed it on the cement where it belonged. Kudos honey.
We’re going to the JJC…not to live…and doing some ministry stuff tonight. We will be attempting “The Chicken Skit.” Hmm.

Things that annoy me...

My crappy attitude
People getting in my business
Being late to work...constantly
Too many voices all at once telling me something different (real ones, not the ones in my head, silly...)
People who tail me while I'm driving 10mph over the speed limit as it is
Bad driving in general
Mondays
People who ask "How's married life?"
My fish (three African Cichlids)...boring and aggressive punks
People who call and don't leave messages...or wait 'till the machine picks up to hang up

And I know there's more, but I don't want to scare you off. Maybe I already did. Sorry.
