About me:
I am a bit wistful as I close this chapter of my life, and prepare to begin a new one. But I am not worried, I am hopeful and excited. I am not nervous that my independence will dwindle; I know it won't. Because of the last few years of my life, I am in a much healthier and stronger place now. Though I feared relationships because I assumed they equaled dependence, and given my history I was certain I'd never be able to maintain interdependence when in one, I have (thankfully & happily) proved myself wrong! Richy and I are very interdependent. We each have our own life, our own goals, our own hobbies and friends, and we will never compromise any of that -- ourselves, or our happiness -- for the other. Instead, I am confident we will only support, encourage and lift the other higher. New chapter, here I come! I am ready and eager to turn the page.
