So about 3 month my cousins husband calls my up, he says " you still in the motorcycle class" i say "yah". oh forgot to mention i'm taking a motorcycle maintenance class. so he says" i called my buddy and asked him if he'd done anything to the bike". so he tells me his buddy said no, if he wanted it back. Dru( the cuz's hubby) said to his bud "well the wife's cuz is taking a class and could use the bike as a project". so the bud says cool. so i say wow thanks. about a month and a half later we pic up the bike, a 1981 gs1100. it's been sitting i think 6 years :o.so in the past month and a half i rebuilt the carbs, removed and replace the chain n sprockets, also did a 630 to 530 conversion for the chain.repaired the stripped oil pan drain plug threads, and adjusted the valves. so i put a new battery in turn the key put the kill switch to on press the started button and nothing :|. well i have december to figure out the electrical, then on to the front forks.i'll have a whole semester to get that done, if nothing else comes up.

ok this happened a long time a go and requires a little explanation. when i started working with the airlines i started as a ramp agent. that what you call the guys that load and usually lose your bags on the airplanes. now being on that ramp is like being in the 3rd grade again cause thats as mature as everyone acts. with that said i had just been on the job for about 2 months so i always checked in with my coworkers if i went for lunch or to the bathroom so if i had a flight it would be covered.one day i was offloading( taking bags off the plane to baggage claim) i went looking for my partner to let him know i was going for lunch. at the time my partner was talking with a csa (customer service agent) a cute one. when i mentioned i was going to get food the csa asked what i was getting for her.hhhhh. so i asked " what you want" she said she was just kidding. i said too late what you want or do i just surprise you. she said well i'll take an ice cream. i said ok. so i want got my lunch n ate. after i ate i went for the ice cream and took it to the gate she was working, to my surprise she wasn't there. so i asked my buddy if he knew where she was. he asked me where i went while on break. the break room... so off i go looking for her, well go figure thats where i find her. i tell her i got the ice cream in the ramp breakroom freezer.she says she'll get it after her next flight.mean while everyone going into the freezer asks who the ice cream is for. well i guard it like a pitbull. well the girl finally come in for her ice cream with every ramp agent working that night in the breakroom. so she walks right over goes in the freezer and just helps herself to the ice cream. well i'm sitting down with the worst possible people next to me and the the most visions kind of ramp agents, female ramp agents. as soon the csa got the ice cream the looks and the smile with bad intent start my way from the girls." oh thats who the ice cream is for"" is that your girl friend?" i can feel the pressure rising. there's blood in the water and sharks are circling. so the csa come over said thanks and did the worst thing she could have done to me...... she gave me a kiss on the cheek.... all hell broke loose and all coming my way. i couldn't even get up and leave cause i was pinned in. i feel like i had turn beat red. i didn't hear the end of it for almost a month..... was i worth it????? hell ya, i got kissed by a girl :P. and did i say she was perty.lol

yesterday i was given a reason to not complain about my life and be thankful for what i got. i work at the bob hope airport in burbank,ca for swa. this is the only airport that we service that still uses airstairs, so when people can walk up the stairs, we have a machine to take them up. yesterday i was my job to operate this lift machine.on one flight i was call to help a man that didn't have anything below the belly button. not just missing his legs but just about everything up to his ribcage. just something to think about next time we're complaining about something.
