Its raining again. I guess that should be expected for Seattle, but is it ever going to be done? This annoying shoulder season between winter and summer just needs to go; rain always seems so much worse when its interspersed with a few nice sunny days. Calgary was worse ... the months between winter and spring where all the snow would have receded to reveal a brown, lifeless city waiting for the warmth of spring to bring the greenery back. Two months of gray-brown streets, lawns, trees, cars and shoes. On the plus side it would be a great time and place to own a car wash.

Once upon a time there was a General Contractor who needed an Engineer. For weeks he scoured the land in the hope he would find the perfect match, but alas it wasn't to be so. The harder he looked the more frightened the Engineers grew and the more they scurried away from the big bad project he wielded in his right hand. Why? Why did these Engineers fear the big bad project so? Perhaps they were all afraid of the General Contractor himself ... Perhaps he needed to shower more often or change his cologne? No matter the reasons, the outcome was still the same. No Engineers would come and play with the General Contractor. The Contractor was growing lonely without an Engineer he could work with; someone he could trust to stamp his plans and let him flagrantly brutalize the IRC. Perhaps it was all a sign ... but the Contractor was starting to wonder ... was he ever going to be allowed to frolic with his nail gun again?
