if you and i were lovers,
i would kiss your tears
under the covers,
id wish away the monsters
under your bed,
hush you and whisper its
all in your head.
if you and i were soul mates
would we know?
even on the first date.
if you and i were kindred,
would you know
how i felt before i did?
if you and i were friends
i would tell you a secret on bearly a whisper
and you would hear it.
friends kindred soulmates lovers

i thought id could harden,
my heart
from you,
but i didnt know where to start.
i breath in glass for one last time.
i know i will be fine.
the last tear falls form my face,
