Unknown's tales

Of Secrets Secrets serve for treachery, for telling and for trust. Their chief use in treachery is betraying the friendship of one close to you; in telling, one accentuates the excitement of finally realizing the unknown and for trust, the bonds between two people are strengthened. For regular people can share gossip, but only true friends can entrust one another with the juicy goodness of a secret. To be too greedy with secrets is suspicious, to tell too many may embarrass you, to moderate wisely the number of secrets to tell and take, shows the qualities of a good thinker. They perfect a character’s disguise and are perfected by the character that disguises them. Traitors use them against you, fools expel them, and friends protect them. For though they are secrets, sometimes, they’re okay to tell. They exist not for blackmail, nor for giddy entertainment, but to show the trust between two people, and that when you mess with one of us, you mess with all of us. Some secrets should be discarded, others we should be wary of, and others still, should be held somewhere safe, to be remembered forever. That is, some secrets are useless, and we wonder why they were told; others may hint at a treacherous deed that we should keep a watchful eye on, and some bring us all so close together that it’s impossible to let go of what we owe our friendship to. Suspicion arouses the basic secret, enemies make secrets worth finding out, and friends make secrets worth the world. And therefore, if friends keep secrets from each other, they had need have a distrusting relationship; and if they share secrets, they had need have new ties to keep them together, and if they make secrets with each other, they had need have the greatest friendship they can get, because friends are the greatest gift anyone can have. We listen with our ears, and speak with our mouths, we see with our eyes, taste with our tongues, and feel with our skin. Any one of those ways can be used to find a secret. Don’t tell anyone.

Alright, so about yesterday. What a long day it was. The plan was to go up to Denver, to the Mercury Cafe (the merc), take an aerials class, hang out, and then go back in the evening for the big dance. Didn't exactly go as planned though. We left about 12:30, went to the academy to pick up some people, drove all the way to denver, got lost, XD, that was exciting, and finally found our way to the airport. We dropped the people off. Gah, I'll tell you, john, one of the people we were driving up there, can talk forever. He talked nonstop for the WHOLE ride up there! But yeah, it was exciting, so we definitely took forever trying to find the place, which when we did, found out they weren't having the class, so we went driving...again. loe and behold, we both had to pee, so we went around, finally found a burger king, took a wizz, and sat out in the car eating our taco bell(which we had picked up hours before). We went back and sat in the parking lot forever, leaned all the chairs back, lounged, wrestled, the whole shibang. It was fun, that lasted for like, 3 freaking hours! And finally, it was six o' clock, and we went in, cuz it was finally unlocked. I'll tell you, that place is so trippy, it was awesome! the dance floor is on the second story of the building, and it has a really nice dance floor, with these tiny circular tables surrounding it, and oh, you just really have to see it to believe it. It was awesome! It was the chillest place I've ever been to. It actually looked like a place people would go strictly to hang out. So there were two classes before the actual dance, and so we decided to go to those. So the first class was on Shag, and now apparently I know how to do that, it's pretty cool. Favorite thing was definitely the Skater's knot, and how you turn and stuff in it, it was trippy. After that was a basic class, and i knew all that stuff, so I just watched for that. And then came the dance, XD. And yeah, that happened the rest of the night, we left around 11:30 and got home around 12:30. Oh, and I met this old guy there who they call, "go go joe", lol, he's funny, yet awkward. He doesn't do so much dancing, he'll take the girls and make them go solo, and then randomly throughout the song he'll just start clapping and yelling, "GO! GO! GO!" lol, it's sooooo funny to watch. I tried rescuing my friend from him for a dance, but he got me and started schooling me about women. I need to treat you all with the 3 A's! Attention, Affection, and Appreciation! lol, mmk? oh, and he added a D, it's Dancing! Remember that, boys!

I don't come on here to listen to people bitch about things they've never experienced, so when I go into express to talk to people, I don't want to find half the room talking about suicide. It's not really a topic that belongs in here. I come in here to have fun, not be depressed. If it was a story they were sharing or asking for advice, I'd be ok with it. But they're not, they're all just sitting there yelling at each other. Nothing gets accomplished. Fuckin Dumbasses

Today was very much an exciting day....Once I started doing stuff. From the beginning of events... I needed cell coverage so I made my dad come with me on a trip to my sister's, where I have service, I planned with my friend Amber that we would go swing dancing. We went to the Shrinner's(sp?) Club thing and danced there for about 2 and a half hours, so awkward.... Our first dance was a waltz and we were the only young people there really. I tried dancing with a little girl but she got scared and her parents had to take her. So we were there forever, I danced with two of her friends as well, and then Ryan and....Brett? I believe, came and joined the fun. Those two are far better dancers than I. So that happened, and we decided to leave. We went downtown to find something to do, had some Chipotle, wandered, couldn't get into a bunch of places cuz they were 21+ only. We finally made our way to the Antlers Hilton hotel, and we saw some instruments laying there in the lobby, so we took a seat and waited for the band to get back. It turns out that the "band" was a quintet of these kids, all younger than myself, in a strings group. They were called the Encore Strings Quintet. They were surprisingly good. So us three guys took turns dancing wtih my friend Amber( mainly waltz) in the lobby. We had people taking pictures of us and all that jazz. But come 8 o' clock, it's time to head to the real party! We went off to the VFW. I had never been before, and it was exciting. I did that dance, ran into the usual hardcore dancers, and that was that. we got out around 10 and then went our separate ways to our homes, and that brings me here, sharing my tale with you. Boy, I'll tell you, that was a hella exciting day. Not likely I'll forget that anytime soon.
