A pale moon rises, so i venture outside
a light mist forms, i slow my stride
i sniff the air, i feel no fear
i am the biggest dog out here
treading lightly, i make no sound
a dream like fog now hides the ground
i ponder life, and my own soul
and a bitter world that takes its toll
i cast a sigh unto the wind
and turn around to home again
