About me:
I like to think of myself as a Renaissance Man! I love music ranging from classical baroque to heavy metal! I love to draw, and to paint with anything from finger paints to oils! I enjoy meditating, relaxation techniques, martial arts, bowling, and singing! I love reading and studying about; different religions, history (ancient and recent), astronomy, astrophysics, astronomy, medicine, art, music, psychology, sociology, war, different cultures and beliefs, and philosophy...just to name a few things!
I was never a big sport fan and/or enthusiast as a kid...I didn't want to waste my time learning who got the highest RBI in baseball...or who rushed the most yards in a football season! I felt that was such a waste of time and energy...and what in the hell did any of that contribute to society as a whole...other than entertainment value? As mentioned previously, I like martial arts and the philosophy that is taught along with it...or I should say ought to be taught simultaneously with the martial aspects of the art! I feel that all the hype concerning mixed martial arts doesn't even take into account any of the spirituality that ancient martial artists used to employ into their daily lives!
My interests are quite varied and always have been, and I suppose will continue to be that way! Personally, I think my varied interests help explain why I've always found it difficult to make friends and/or maintain friendships! I'm a very laid back individual most of the time...BUT when something interests me...there's no stopping me!
