Je hurle comme une folle
Qu'elle me laisse donc tranquille
Soudain, mon bras s'envole
Jusqu'à sa peau fragile

Puis je fixe en silence
Ses yeux qui s'écarquillent
Étonnés d'ma violence

Couchée dans l'corridor
Abattue comme une quille
Elle me répète à mort
Que je ne suis pas gentille

Et devant son petit corps
Qui se recroqueville
J'me confonds en remords
J'ai battu ma fille

Moi qui couvrais de blâme
Tous ces idiots en rogne

Just one of the poems I like a lot. It was written by Maya Angelou (a great writer and poet) and the title is Phenomenail woman. And it really makes a woman feel special. So, it goes like this:

Phenomenal Woman


Pretty women wonder where my secret lies.
I'm not cute or built to suit a fashion model's size.
But when I start to tell them,
They think I'm telling lies.
I say,
It's in the reach of my arms
The span of my hips,
The stride of my step,
The curl of my lips.
I'm a woman
Phenomenally.
Phenomenal woman,
That's me.

I walk into a room
Just as cool as you please,
And to a man,
The fellows stand or
Fall down on their knees.
