I have been an industrious critter lately :o)
After checking the old finances I decided to open a little shop and have started to stock it with competitively priced items - some have even sold already.

Quick, send food... hunger, hunger, hunger... drought season and a certain meercritter has been reduced to eating ants. As well as taking literally loads of them to make an adequate meal the little rascals keep escaping off the plate (yup, some civilized beasties use crockery - do not be expecting me to use a knife and fork on these midget morsels though) while one carries it back to the burrow. They get lodged in your fur something cronic too.
So, all in all, ants are not good fare - would suggest sending a macdonalds though would prefer something with meat in it ;o)

Yay, it's the weekend critters and critterettes, if anyone fancies joining me for a drink at the local watering hole I promise to behave.

Just give me a quick moment to catch some fodder and take a dust bath before heading there.

A long day spent keeping a lookout for nasty big carnivores has made this little critter tired. Meerkat Manor can turn off the cameras now because this one isn't going to be active until morning (plus I need a widdle before bed and get all tetchy with the cameras rolling and find I can't go).

I have been practicing my new trick "fetch" and can now offer yet another service.

I can fetch sticks, beetles (and many of the similar 'grub' type lifeforms) and even small rodents.

Me so useful now :o) yay.
