Perhaps of the recent events, the very few little things that happened today seemed to be exceptionally good news. Good enough to lift my spirits and put me in a good mood.

But for how long will it keep me up? For how long will I feel this excitement and this positive energy that I have not felt in the last few months? How soon will the end come? Too soon I fear.

I'm scared that that's all there is to the good things that will happen. I'm terrified of the bleakness I see ahead of me.
