Dance with me in twilight
Under spring skies filled with lore
Tell me tales of lovers true
Then dance with me some more

Run with me at water’s edge
We’ll build castles in the sand
And watch them melt like secrets
With a wave of ocean’s hand.

Jump with me a leap of faith
Deny fear and let love reign
I’ll promise you my soul tonight
And ask you do the same

Walk with me on a summer’s night
With stars against the blackened sky
Wish upon the first one seen
That we may love until we die

Between My Heartbeats

You live...between my heartbeats
Inside the apple-blossom white silence
That betrays the echo of life
Not simply within me, but as me
Investigating purity from a solstice
Sustaining life through momentary lapses
Reigning over my frailty
And urging my heart to beat again

You are an expression of my immortality
For though my heart stop beating
And my life end...
My Love for you is eternal.
