the night is my companion and my creul mistress. my eyes focus to the dark alley i watch you with interest as you carry on without a care in the world. looking through your bag talking on the arm extending from your ear. and easy mark you are, my first meal of the night. my eyes are fixated on you, my mouth begins to water as i focus in on your heart beat. the low pulsing tone, of life, of fear, of food. you walk closer to me, perhaps it is the distraction of your conversation, straight down the alleyway into the dark you stroll with out concern. the waves from the cell phone blocking out any possible warnings you other wise would pick up on. this not only pleases me , it amuses me how foolish your kind is and how enslaved you are to your gadgets. licking my fang and lips i relax a little waiting for you to come to me. a dark silhouette now coming closer and for the first time i am able to see your face. my eyes widen at your very sight, how beautiful you are, i am captivated and taken back, my hunger changes, eyes narrow as i watch you and the claiming has already started with the visions of desire exploding in my mind. 'you will be mine' i whisper on the wind, as it reaches you, a cold shiver runs up your back as you finally realize where you have ventured to and an alarming feeling you are not alone.
