Having only been out of my previous cast 3 weeks, I find myself in another after busting exactly the same ankle again... this time, stone cold sober and barefoot..!!!! How the hell do you break your ankle when you're sober and barefoot.?? God knows, but I managed it.. :) Told you I was unique...!! :D

I twisted it badly walking through an open door... one minute I'm upright, the next I'm on the floor in agony... and boy, did it crunch...ouch!! :'(

I suppose I was lucky I didn't twist it on the stairs I'd just come down, as there's no rail to grab on to.. I'd have gone head first down them.. and been in a whole lot more pain..! Although St Vincent's is such a peaceful place at midnight...and you don't need to queue up for an x-ray.. lol ;)

I think I'll invest in a wheelchair, it seems to be so much safer than walking... for me anyway...!!!
