I am soooo proud of my son! Everyday he continues to do all the things the doctors said he would never do and then some! Celebrating each new day as he continues to kick Autism to the curb however yesterday was extra special. His school work load is enormous yet he managed to win two metals in Science Olympiad Regionals! Since he is a freshman he was placed on JV however he scored higher than the Varsity in all three events. He placed thrid in Ecology and first in Herpitology! Over all he placed 8th in the region (including Varsity and JV!) in Ecology and 2nd in the region in Herpitology! JV normally is not allowed to go to State however since he scored so high they might send him! So now it is wait and see, but even if he doesn't go to State this year, I am still thrilled and proud beyond belief! My heart is so full! He amazes me every day.

Today is turning out to be a blah day. A nasty cold snuck up and jumped me. Been fighting it for two days but today it is winning. So it is off to the couch to curl up with a box of tissues and some hot tea until the kiddo get home. Hope this finds everyone well, happy and sniffle free.
