Some Things I'll Miss About Japan:
- Chu-his... fruity soda meets alcohol, what's not to love?
- Japanese food in general, but especially...
- Real, fresh sushi!
- The trains, getting you anywhere and everywhere, and almost always on time.
- Low crime rate. I've never felt so safe walking around a city alone in my entire life.
- Convenience stores - open 24 hours a day, fresh, real meals they'll microwave for you, booze, toiletries, groceries, everything! You can even pay your bills there, usually.
- Manners/overall cultural attitude - most people I've met here are very polite and take pride in their work, and you'd be amazed what a difference it makes in everyday life.
I've spent about three years in Japan now, and while I miss home a great deal, I'll definitely miss a lot about Japan. It's been home to me for some time now, and I know I'll be sorry to leave when the time comes.
