Where does the whim take me now? How did my reason become cowed? Where has the whole of myself gone? Why is there no light in the sun?
How quickly this spirit becomes consumed Roiling in dead hopes and love subsumed Rending the image, the draft of a man Fire and electricity out of the can
Shifting the Planes of feeling and thought Til all that there is becomes measured as nought

Who causes you such pain? Well it could only be Him The monarch of misery The enticer to sin
Who forged your chains? We certainly know who The king of the liars An enslaver of fools
Who sows your torments And scripts all the drama? The reaper of souls An evoker of trauma
Who’s this fell creature? Sneering its formidable grin Chortling through the darkness The demon named Grimm
