I'm 8 months pregnant and am due to pop on the 15th March 2011 I'm getting excited to meeting my lil man and to have my husband home for the birth is going to make it all the more special. :) Its been pretty tough being pregnant and not having him home for most of it but yeah thats the army for ya, so unpredictable. he is here for only 2 weeks of the birth then leaves me again for 2.5months :( he misses all the lil things like first smile, larghter, farts what ever and watch him grow he misses forming a bond with the baby and all for a larger pay check at the end of this deployment. a chance of us being posted after waiting for 4 years, a new car and a 2-3 month holiday. but then I wonder if it was all worth it when he got to miss out on the pregnancy and bonding of his first child...

Millitary wifies do it tough all the time :( missing my hubby sooooooooooo much and am 8 months preggers with my first child... could a civilian wifie hack it being away from your hubby for 6-8 months at a time? Probably not. but for the millitary wives its a normal thing to go without someone you love for huge periods of time...sucks but this is my life.

JUST HOW SMART ARE HUSKIES? EXSPECIALLY IF THERE ON HEAT!!!

in my case my girl raven has the instinct to escape just like most huskies are born with. and it makes it a tad worse when a parent of the pups are already an exceptional escape artist...her father was excellant at actually climbing a fence to scape, you know the "one foot after another" till he's over and out!! but he would NOT come back when called which was a real ass. Now raven on other hands has this very sneeky way of doing things and thats to wait till no one is looking ie:

1. lay there like nothings happening till you turn your back or go up stairs, she'll sneek away.
2. I have cought her teaching the pups from next door how to dig a hole.
3. her mum keysha and her dad Nitro would sit next to the fence facing us wile raven on other side digging away...."QUICKLY WHILE THERE NOT WATCHING!!!"
4. she finds a well covered place and also IF despret will cover her tracts.

And Last one:
5. she will push any large rock out of an existing hole and if a tree is in the road she will dig up.

BE WARNED even though these dogs are great campanions they are way too intelligent for any owner or yard.
