Oh heres a slightly longer one. I have this whole story planned out in my head I know all the twists and turns already I've just not had the chance to sit down and write them yet... I suppose I should now I have lots of time on my hands being between jobs. Anyway I hope anyone reading this first bit enjoys what I've got down so far :D Morris sat on the banks of the river staring out across the water lost in thought. It had been a long day and he was at a loss of what to do with himself. The breeze stirred and brushed against him chilling him to the bone making him feel even more glum and alone. His life had been a series of disappointments these last few days and the stress was starting to make him feel devoid of hope. The wind whistled through the trees and the leaves rustled past and Morris was brought back to himself with the touch of a hand on his shoulder, causing him to jump in surprise. “Excuse me can you please tell me where I am” Morris turns to look upon this young woman dressed in a tight fitting dress brightly coloured with a crazy print embossed on it. Once he got over the shock of her loud clothing he looked up into her eyes as she bit her lip pensively. She was very attractive and her hair was a wild tangle coming down to her shoulders. “I'm sorry what did you say I was in a world of my own” Morris asked in a daze. “ I said can you please tell me where I am. I've been walking around here for what seems like days now”. She exclaimed in distressed confusion. “Oh I see” Morris mused wondering were on earth she had come from. “ well your in the middle of nowhere I'm afraid, I'm surprised to see anyone wondering around here”. The wind picked up with a gust and sent leaves up into the air in a mad flurry that much to Morris's shock danced right through her. “What the hell” Morris shouted out stumbling backwards and falling on his back painfully. “God I must be seeing things” he hissed out “What's wrong with you” She asked “ Your acting like you've seen a ghost” Morris lifted himself up and stared at her fearfully. “I'm sorry my eye's must be playing tricks on me but it looked like those leaves just went right through you” “what your joking your not high on something are you, god I've asked a drugged up weirdo for help” she uttered in a disgusted rush. Look I'm not a ghost I'll prove it and so said walked right through a tree and started screaming hysterically “Oh my god this isn't happening I just walked through a tree”

This is a another short story I started to write and one I should maybe get back to writing :) I'm afraid there isn't much to it yet I'll come back to fill it out a bit later on :D The sunlight streamed through the window sending tendrils of light into his sleep ridden eyes. John moaned turning himself away trying to recapture his dreams burying himself in the warm comfort of his bed, but it was no good sleep escaped him and he heaved himself up and looked bleary eyed at the clock. “Jesus I'm late” John muttered hauling himself up in a mad panic and making a frantic dash for the bathroom. After spending a good half an hour hopping about while trying to brush his teeth dress and walk at the same time he was ready and out the door breathing in the brisk morning air. The street was a bustle of activity everyone else also heading off for the working day. John put on his crash helmet got onto his mop head and kicked it into live. If anyone reads these stories and they have any comments good or bad.... hopefully not too bad though :P Please leave me a messsage letting me know what you think :) x

I have lots of short stories that I've started that I need to get back to writing. I'll put the start of this one up and hopefully that will be motivation enough for me to get back to working on it :) The wind blew long and hard with rain pelting down on the tin roof of the garage. Dawn looked out the only window and wondered if the sun from moments ago would reappear. She had spent all day working in the garage trying to catch up with the workload after a weeks holiday visiting her mother. The wind howled shaking the window frame, the rain growing in intensity. Her time spent away had given Dawn time to reflect and put her life into perspective. She had never seen herself living as she was now she used to have dreams for the future but they had all dulled and been replaced with the everyday run of the mill things of working sleeping and just trying to get by. But after the time away she was determined to do something different and get her dreams back into the fore front of her thoughts. Glancing at the clock she decided that it was a good time to stop for lunch. She had almost finished for the day anyway and besides It was her first day back and it was hard to get her mind back on the job. Putting the tools away she went to clean up and start the journey home. Being self employed had it's luxuries. she could shut up shop if she really wanted , besides which she had got back a day early anyway. Locking up, making a mad dash and clambering into her car she turned the radio on tuning it into a random station putting the wipers into overdrive.

Oh before you red this just to not spoil the story for you please read the first part of the tale under this tale starting off with It was a cold dark night in mid December. Thank you :) The painting was blank apart from a plain rolling grassland landscape painted on it and on inspection it didn't look as if it had been on the wall long at all. “I don't remember this one at all” Jane mutters in confusion and as she does so the room seems to swirl around her and the floor falls away from her.”What's happening to me” Jane yells out as she lands in what appears to be a patch of grass. Looking around she is stuck in a place eerily similar to the painting she had just been looking at, stranger still when looking up at the sky she could see the hotel corridor that she had just been standing in and walking towards the painting was Angus. “Ah there you go you've found your place in my collection” Angus proclaims in satisfaction “Another lost soul to spend eternity within my care”. Upon saying so he walks away without a second glance leaving Jane trapped within her own confusion wishing that things would all make sense to her out of the madness that was her world.
