RI P Aaliyah

Aaliyah also known as Aaliyah Dana Haughton was a very well known American R&B singer, dancer, model, and actress. Aaliyah came into this world on 16th January, 1979 but however, she passed away on August 25th, 2001 in a plane crash.

It was on August 25, 2001, at 6:49 pm, that the entire crew was wrapping up the shooting for the day for "Rock the Boat" video. After which the entire crew was seated in the twin engine Cessna 402B (N8097W) at Marsh Harbour, Abaco Island, Bahamas to travel to Opa-locka Airport near Miami, Florida. However, within 200 feet away on the runway the plane crashed. In the plane crash Pilot Luis Morales III and all eight passengers, which also included Aaliyah were killed.
