Rainbow of Love

You color the sky after heaven cries;
You're my rainbow skies;
As the lightning flashes through the clouds so fearless;
And the thunder's echoes so full of loudness;
You color my heart with sunlight during the storm;
Your love's slight breeze to the touch is warm;
And as the rain stops and the puddles dry away;
Your umbrella kept me safe again on this day;
As rainbows come in many colors;
I look at the sky and see a cloud shaped like lovers;
And until the next storm comes and makes me cold;
Hopefully this time your rainbow will lead me to the pot of gold.

Tears in a Wineglass

As the raindrops bead down onto my window,
All I have left is your face in this photo,
In my heart loneliness begins to trespass,
I have only the company of my wineglass,
The thought of you being so far away,
You didn't have to be afraid and that's okay,
My heart is missing you very much,
Only in my dreams can I still feel your touch,
As I sit here nights turn into days,
Thinking of how love works in many ways,
But even though you walked out on our love and me,
My heart is still holding on you see,
They say after a downpour comes out a rainbow,
But the storm in my heart says this time you let me go...

Second Chance

Rekindled Love,
Second chances is what my heart has been made of,
Searching for what once was,
Her tears of sorrow was another reason because,
Pain and guilt she felt quite,
Asking for forgiveness to make our love right,
Mistakes will happen throughout everyone's life,
As we moved on I reclaimed her love as my wife,
Our understanding for each other stonger than before,
This bond we have now is forever I'm sure,
So all out there who have lost that romance,
Listen to your heart and give love a second chance.

Lost Ways


We Live in a cruel intent world of nature,
To think that our home should shine much brighter,
As it's shoulders balance both evil and goodness,
A good heart wanders so faithless,
Once full of warmth, now just dark and cold,
A direction my soul cannot see through it's blindfold,
Among the shadows I continue to have hope spite,
Searching for that one path where evil cannot be right,
My spirit will shine bright above at any cost,
Looking down on that darkness upon I've become lost,
For one day someone will finally listen,
One who will pick up all that have fallen,
Many sins this world is corrupt and might be lost,
But as long as there is a universe of light;
Selfishness this world can be ridden of at any cost.

Two Lost Souls World's Apart

Two souls;
Sharing the same heart;
The same desires;
The same pain;
So alike yet so different;
One man;
the other a woman;
Both lost in this world;
Confused over the same thoughts;
Love;
So alike yet so different;
One living in a world of cold;
The other a world of rain:
With great distances between them;
But god saw his chance;
A chance for both to ease their pain;
Uniting them together to reach out;
To share each others thoughts;
To feel each others tears;
To touch each others kind souls;
To shelter each others hearts with open arms;
Like two angels tryin to earn their wings;
So alike yet so different;
But this new bond of friendship does share one thing alike;
The happiness inside each other;
When they both share their words together;
Which sparks a feeling inside unknown through their pain;
Then they both look up at the heavens;
From oppisite sides of the world;
Thanking god for his forgiveness;
And for the happiness they now share together.
