About me:
Well, since we're doing the whole animal thing, I relate a lot to cats. I'm somewhere between the bitchy, antisocial cats and the scaredy cats. Socially, I'm not very confident, so people usually have to approach me. Even then, I'm afraid of imposing myself, so it won't be until I am very comfortable with someone that I will actually approach them. I know this social anxiety can make me seem like an asshole sometimes. I feel like I come off as the bitchy cat, when I'm actually just the 'fraidy cat.

I feel really weird being out of school. I'm starting a couple of side projects to keep me busy. There's the blues band which I think is going to come together nicely. Then there's my movie. I've started on the screenplay, and I've even started lining up my crew. If I'm going to do this, it's going to be professional. I've gone through all the jobs I need, and if I'm actually going to do this, I'm going to have a crew of about 20 people not including actors. I've already asked Brian Williams to act as Director of Photography, and he accepted and seems as excited about the project as I am. Now it's on me as the Executive Producer to line up the other 19 or so jobs with qualified folks, to obtain funding for or access to all the needed equipment, to find actors, etc. I am also the screenwriter, so I have to write the script too. I know making this film is incredibly ambitious and is going to be incredibly challenging, but for once I don't really care. I don't think many people will really believe I can do it, but that's what makes it great if I can. I know I have the organizational skills to put together my crew and I truly believe I have the talent and vision to make a great film. Well, I'm going to try to do some more staffing today. Back to work.

So I think I'm not quite completely sobered up from last night completely, and that's just fine by me. Today is my first scheduled Friday off since I started at JavaWerks a year ago. I've been watching a lot of Metalocalypse lately. Skwisgar has become my favorite character. Honestly, it's his speech patterns that do it. The English major in me just can't help it. I need to get season 2. I also need to go Christmas shopping. So much to do.
