About me:
My name's Danny... I'm really into music. I play bass and drums, but recently I've been putting a little more effort into learning guitar as well, though mostly acoustic stuff. I can be shy at first, but once I get to know you I have a really good sense of humor. I can laugh at anything. I love being random and spontaneous but I also love being able to hold a serious conversation. I can't stand shallow people who only think about partying. History is awesome... Norse and Egyptian Mythology, Colonial America, Rome, Greece, it's all badass. I like tea a lot too. I collect PEZ dispensers. I have like 200 of them. I like to write a lot as well.
I'm also into writing, mostly short dark/morbid allegorical stories akin to Edgar Allen Poe. I posted a few pieces on my journal. If you're really cool you'll read some ;)
I love records. Vinyl. LPs/EPs. They are awesome and they sound so much more alive and present. They also have way cooler art. It takes a true music lover to collect vinyls, since they really are much more of a hassle then CDs. But it's totally worth it.
Playing shows in a band is probably the most thrilling experience ever. The atmosphere and feeling of being on stage (especially if the people are into you, hehe) is exhilarating.
I've been studying Buddhism for about 4 years now. I wouldn't really say it's my religion or anything, but I definitely think it's a great philosophy.
I am also into Asatru, which for those of you who don't know os the revival of Norse paganism after it was wiped out by Christianity a thousand years ago. I don't really believe Thor and Odin and such exist, I just can relate to the principles of honor, faith to your loved ones, etc. that Asatru is based on.
