You are the brightest sun at the break of day,
Arising in splendor to banish the dark which held sway.
The crimson rays burning in the aurora of the dawn,
Find their match in brilliance upon the lips from which your breath is drawn.
The ocean ignited reflects the glimmers of the deepest blue,
Yet even it must envy the shimmer within your eyes, the purest hue.
The sight of that smile so bright sets my heart alight,
