On the ground i think i had it...
In the underworld i forget what it was...

Life comes and goes again, a minute
here and the next gone, what can i grab
if everyone has become a ghost?

Meanwhile i grasp at the night, at half-remembered
dreams now gone by, to the perfume your musky
skin left at my bed, to the soft whisper i still can hear
when you left, to all of this and more i grasp in the night
waiting still for love to return.

I howl beneath darken skies
with silver daggers as the moon
rises tonight.

The forest around me grows colder
as the night shifts and turns pregnant
with all sorts of creatures that only
come out when the full moon rises
out of darken skies.

I change and howl again
my fur grows corse and dark
my fangs grow larger and hard
My ears get tips and my snout
gets biger.

At last i'm myself big and strong
a hunter in the night and i howl again
so my prey can hear me, so it can run
there is sport in the hunt and i will
have it, beneath darken skies
