Xenophobic Violence

I sit in front of You with my agony and pain.
Oh God do I really deserve this?
What did I do, how did I get here?
Do You, my dear Father mean this to be?

The flames on my helpless body grow higher and higher,
The flames in my helpless soul,
got extinguished by their fire…
No mere man can save me from this,
only You can make such fire bliss.

My eyes turned blind from heat,
so do I have to accept this defeat?
Will my life really get extinguished by a mere man’s fire?
Or will I strive, like this fire?
Higher and higher…

You my Lord..
Are my hope.. My joy..
My comfort and pride..
Save me today from this xenophobic violence!
Take me away to Your kingdom in heaven!
Amen!

A prayer for a naked child

Father God help this helpless child...
Help her to pick up the pieces that
was ripped from her body,
her soul and her thoughts.

Help her to collect all the lost
and stolen pieces.
She's too innocent to get ripped
naked of all her belongings.
She needs the comfort of a
Person that loves and cares.

Please God make this child
whole,
Help her to put herself back
together.
So that she can live...
in harmony.
